It’s a beautiful life!

hello my lovely sisters!

It has been quite a while since I’ve had a free moment to post on here and I am terribly embarrassed that I haven’t written in such a long time. I am currently in the library, enjoying my last day of classes of my junior year of college! What a blessing.

I have been stressed out of my mind over the last few weeks and I don’t know about you, but I am very ready for summer and all the adventures that it will bring. My favorite Christian Music Festival has been slowly announcing their line-up and has helped me de-stress from papers and homework and listen to some of the bands out of shear excitement. (I am talking about Uprise Festival in Shippensburg, PA, for those who are wondering!).

Now, I hope that you guys took the blessing jar challenge again this year! I was very disappointed in my lack of written down blessing from 2013 that I made it a goal to do one every single day, and I haven’t missed a day yet! Remember, we can’t just seek God when we need Him, we must also thank Him when times are good and He is blessing us! And here’s a little secret, he is ALWAYS blessing us. Things that hurt now, help us learn. Things that don’t go our way now, aren’t meant to, He has a greater plan!

Now, as I am writing this, in the back of my mind are all of my worries. I have exams next week and a big project due next Friday and I can feel myself getting overwhelmed. BUT, I recently learned something in my psychology class. We talked about self-health on the last day and it was a very appropriate topic for the end of the semester.

Self-health requires you to take a little bit of time to make sure you are okay. Relax a little, read a book (I recommend the bible!), take a nap, listen to music, go for a walk, SOMETHING! It’s important to step away from the stresses of life and just reflect a little bit. Being aware of how you feel is incredibly important, and facing your demons rather than brushing them aside is even more important.

Now, I don’t want to face any big topics today. Today’s post is supposed to be all about these beautiful life we have been given. I saw the most amazing flowers today and was completely blown away. God’s handiwork is something to marvel at! And that includes you too!

Walk In Love,
